What the tool provides

AIWatermark.dev provides browser-local cleanup of selected Unicode characters, character inspection, copying and plain-text download. Optional rewriting uses your OpenRouter key and a currently listed free text model. AIWatermark.dev is an independent tool with no affiliation with the model providers named on this site.

Review your results

Character cleanup can join words or change line-breaking behavior. AI rewriting can alter meaning or introduce errors. Keep a copy of important originals and check the result before publication or other use. No output is guaranteed to be accurate, suitable for a particular purpose or free of statistical watermark signals.

No detector certificate

AIWatermark.dev does not provide an official watermark detector, AI authorship score, provenance certificate or guarantee of passing any detector. Its character report describes Unicode changes only. An unchanged passage or empty character report does not establish that a statistical signal is absent.

Your content and third parties

Use text you have the right to process. Follow copyright, confidentiality, attribution and AI disclosure requirements that apply to your work. Optional third-party rewriting is governed by the provider’s own terms, privacy practices, availability and account limits. The free model directory may change, and requests may be rate limited or fail.

Availability

The tool is provided as available, without a service-level commitment. Features may change as standards and provider capabilities change. The local cleaner has no subscription or payment flow.
